MEET THE FOUNDER

Mansa Latham, Founder & CEO of FTD Ministry

“I was blind to the puzzle God had set before me.”

The "Class Clown" Epiphany

If you had met me in high school, you wouldn’t have seen a ministry leader or a CEO. You would have seen the class clown. I was just happy to be in the crowd, cracking jokes and playing sports, struggling to find my own place.

Looking back, I realize I was standing in the middle of a goldmine I couldn’t see.

I was surrounded by incredible talent. My friends could sing, dance, and play instruments with a skill that demanded to be heard. I was also surrounded by professional tools. My father worked in product marketing, and our basement overflowed with high-end audio gear: microphones, loudspeakers, and amplifiers that most kids only saw on TV.

I had the talent around me, and I had the equipment to amplify it. But I never put the two together. In my youth, I missed my blessings. I watched my friends struggle to be heard while the tools to amplify their voices gathered dust in my own basement.

The King of Second Chances

It took me over 15 years to see what was right in front of me. I spent years working as a strategic business partner in corporate America for major brands , building a successful career but ultimately feeling unfulfilled.

God is the King of second chances, and He made it clear that it was time to stop building for myself and start building for Him.

Today, those same amplifiers and speakers from my father’s basement are finally being put to use. They are no longer gathering dust; they are gathering souls. I founded FTD Ministry because I do not want the next generation to miss their blessings like I did.

Why I Do This Work

Today, our youth are facing a crisis of connection.

  • They are creators without professional tools.

  • They are believers without a church home.

  • They are talent without teachers to guide their light.

Through programs like KidsWitness and the Exhale open mic, we are dedicated to bridging that gap. We are taking the equipment off the shelf and putting it directly into the hands of children, teaching them the audio and video skillsets that build careers, inspire confidence, and re-engage them with the church.

We are turning “class clowns” into community leaders.

The Why

Solving the Crisis of Connection

01

Creators

Our youth are bursting with creativity but often lack the professional tools required to amplify their voices. We bridge this gap by putting high-end audio and video equipment directly into their hands.
02

Believers

Many young people are seeking a spiritual foundation but feel disconnected from traditional congregations. We provide a safe, welcoming community for them to re-engage their faith and find a church home.

03

Talent

Raw talent needs mentorship to shine its brightest. We provide the teachers, guidance, and real-world opportunities necessary to help them master their gifts and turn their passions into sustainable careers.

Our Vision

To build up God’s Kingdom on Earth so that it is reflected in heaven, rising up a new “Dawn of Witnesses” where all of God’s children are restored to independence and empowered to live blessed, purpose-filled lives.

Our Mission

To be a light in this world that ushers in a “New Dawn” by venturing into the wilderness to find God’s lost children and restoring them to His Kingdom through the provision of housing, education, and job placement.

Let's Amplify Their Voices Together

Join me in this mission. Let’s take the equipment off the shelf and put it into the hands of the next generation.
